WORLD AIDS DAY

 WORLD AIDS DAY DATE :29 NOVEMBER 2024 World AIDS Day is an essential occasion to remind us of our continued commitment to preventing new HIV infections and providing critical services to all individuals living with HIV worldwide. The global observance, which takes place every year on December 1, raises awareness about HIV/AIDS, combats stigma, and promotes understanding and support for those affected by the disease. The theme for the 37th World AIDS Day in 2024 is “Collective Action: Sustain and Accelerate HIV Progress,” underscoring the importance of collective effort to eliminate AIDS.  To mark this important day, the NSS student teachers at Sabarigiri College of Education organized a program on November 29, with guidance from Jaseena Miss and Preetha Miss. CONSTITUTION DAY OF INDIA DATE:26 NOVEMBER 2024 Constitution Day of India, also called Samvidhan Divas, is observed every year on November 26th to mark the adoption of the Indian Constitution by the Constituent Assembly in 1949. On this day, the Constitution was officially approved, and it came into effect on January 26, 1950, establishing India as a sovereign republic. The day is dedicated to honoring the principles enshrined in the Constitution, which ensures fundamental rights and upholds the values of justice, equality, and democracy. Across the country, government institutions, schools, and organizations host events to raise awareness about the Constitution's importance and its role in shaping the nation. It is also a time to reflect on the core values of liberty, fraternity, and integrity that form the foundation of India’s democratic system.  RADIO STATION INAGURATION Date :22 November 2024       The inauguration of the radio station at Sabarigiri College of Teacher Education 's General Hall,was a watershed moment, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the institution's journey. The event was attended by all the Student Teacher trainees, beloved teacher and non teaching staffs and our respected principal Dr. Roy sir, all of them were united by their excitement and anticipation.     The programme started at eleven'o clock after our Internal Examination. All the decorations were done the day before by the student teacher trainees.  SUB DISTRICT KALOLSAVAM Date: November 11,2024 The Kalolsavam event offers students a valuable platform to showcase their talents at various levels, from the school to the state. Over its 53-year history, the festival has grown both in scale and significance, establishing itself as a symbol of student talent in Kerala. On November 11, 2024, we, the student teachers from Sabarigiri College of Education, were invited to serve during the sub-district Kalolsavam. The event was hosted at Anchal East Higher Secondary School, and we received an official invitation from Punalur DD Jaffar Sir. Our team was led by our Principal, Dr. Roy Sir, and NSS Coordinator, Jaseena Miss. It marked the first day of the sub-district Kalolsavam. By 8:45 AM, all 52 of us had arrived at the school. UNION INAGURATION AND KERALA PIRAVI CELEBRATION

 UNION INAGURATION The inauguration of the union and arts club at Sabarigiri College of Education, Anchal, took place on November 1, 2024. The event was organized by the college union with the involvement of students and faculty. It began at 10:30 am in the general hall. Notable attendees included Dr. V.K. Jayakumar, founder chairman of the Sabarigiri group of institutions, special guest Vineeth Elamadu, our principal Dr. Roy G, and our esteemed teachers. The event was hosted by Ammulekshmi and Akshara. The ceremony commenced with a prayer song by Aiswarya, followed by a welcome dance performed by Arathi. The principal then delivered a welcoming address. Dr. Jayakumar lit the ceremonial lamp, officially inaugurating the event alongside Dr. Roy, Sreedevi, Vineeth Elamadu, Chairperson Unnimaya, General Secretary Anju, and Arts Club Secretary Soorya Suresh.
