MONDAY - FRIDAY(08/09/25 to 12/09/25)

REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

27 DAY : MONDAY:08/09/25

Today’s school experience began with my arrival at 9:15 a.m. Upon reaching the campus, I first went to the office and signed in the attendance register, after which I proceeded to the allotted place. The school assembly started at 9:40 a.m., where students and teachers gathered together to begin the day in a disciplined manner.

Following the assembly, the answer sheets of the Onam examination were distributed to the students of 9A This gave me an opportunity to observe how evaluation and feedback are carried out in the school setting. Later, I actively participated in the noon meal program, where we served food for the students.

Since there were no substitution or concerned classes assigned to me today, I utilized the time to complete some of my pending records.

In the afternoon, after ensuring that all the students had left the school safely, we joined in the concluding prayer and national anthem. Finally, at 4:00 p.m., we left the campus, bringing the day’s activities to a close.

28 DAY : TUESDAY 09/08/2025

I reached the school at 9:15 a.m. and signed the attendance register before moving to the allotted place. After the morning assembly, I received a substitution in Class 5B, where the subject was Art. I engaged the students in a drawing activity by demonstrating step-by-step illustrations of simple pictures. The students eagerly followed the instructions, and the class turned out to be very active and engaging. The children enjoyed the session and even expressed their wish for me to come again, which was truly encouraging.Later, I got another substitution in Class 6C. In this class, I conducted some general knowledge activities to keep the students actively involved. The activities created a lively atmosphere, and the students participated with enthusiasm.

During the noon meal program, I actively took part in serving food to the students, which gave me another opportunity to connect with them beyond the classroom.

In the evening after ensuring all students had safely left the campus, we concluded the day with the prayer and the national anthem. Finally, we left the school premises.

29 DAY - WEDNESDAY 10/08/2025

I reached the school at 9:15 a.m. and signed the attendance register. The assembly started at 4:45. During the 3rd period, I had my concerned class in 9A, where I began a new chapter, 'ശ്വാസനവും വിസർജനവും' (Respiration and Excretion). On this day, I introduced the topic of' role of oxygen in respiration and burning and products formed'. The class was attentive, and I was able to create a good learning environment while starting the lesson.

At noon, I actively participated in the noon meal program by serving food to the students. Later, I received a substitution in Class 6C, where I engaged the students with some interesting and interactive activities to maintain their involvement.

After ensuring that all the students had left the campus safely after prayer and national anthem. Then, we too left the school.

30 DAY - THURSDAY 11/08/2025

Today, I reached the school at 9:15 a.m. and signed the attendance register as usual. The assembly began at 9:40 a.m. On this day, the PTA meeting for the Upper Primary section was scheduled. The general meeting was conducted in the school auditorium, after which parents moved to their children’s respective classes.

During the 3rd hour, I had a substitution in the 5 C. At that time, the teacher assigned me the responsibility of organizing the answer sheets for the PTA meeting. There were 43 students in the class, and I arranged all their subject-wise answer sheets according to their names. I also helped in arranging the seating for the parents. Since the class teacher was not present initially, I undertook some duties by showing the parents their ward’s marks and asking them to sign the answer sheets. It was a new and meaningful experience to witness and assist in the process of a PTA meeting, which gave me valuable insights into how teachers communicate with parents.

After the PTA meeting, I actively participated in the noon meal program and helped serve food for the students. After i had a concerned class at 9 A where I teach the topic ' parts features and functions of human respiratory system 'Later, I received a substitution in the 8th standard during their sports period. I accompanied the students to the ground and carefully observed them while they played to ensure their safety.

Finally, after the school prayer and national anthem, the students dispersed. Once it was confirmed that all students had safely left, we also departed from the school.

30 DAY :FRIDAY &12/08/2025

Today, I reached the school at 9:15 a.m. and went to the principal’s room to sign the attendance register. The assembly began at 9:40 a.m. On this day, the PTA meeting for the High School section was scheduled. The general PTA meeting for 8th and 9th standard students was conducted in the auditorium during the morning session. After the general meeting, parents visited their children’s respective classes. Parents of students in my concerned class, 9A, came to discuss their children’s academic progress, and I had the opportunity to interact with them and provide feedback on their learning levels.

During the noon meal program, I actively participated by serving food to the students. After lunch, the PTA meeting for 10th standard students took place. Following the general meeting, individual class meetings were conducted. I received a substitution in Class 10C, where I engaged the students with some activities. Later, I also got a substitution in Class 10F. After the national anthem and prayer, I left the class as the students had an extra Physics class scheduled.

Finally, after ensuring that all students had safely left the school, I also departed from the campus.

CURRICULAR AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

In this week students of 9 A taught the topic,"role of oxygen in respiration and burning and products formed,parts features and functions of human respiratory system".Reflective journal was also completed this week.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

On 11/8/2025,Thursday Parents teacher meeting for U. P was conducted in the school auditorium.On 12/8/2025,Friday PTA meeting for high school was also organized in the school auditorium.

OVERALL REFLECTION ON CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE

The students of Class 9 were provided with a classroom experience focused on activities based on the teaching manual. A total of two teaching manuals were successfully completed. The lessons covered included 'role of oxygen in respiration and burning and products formed,parts features and functions of human respiratory system' from the unit 'RESPIRATION AND EXCRETION '.To support learning, various teaching aids were used, including 5 cutouts, 1 charts, 9 videos, 9 slides, as well as essay writing tasks and label the parts.As a follow-up, students were assigned tasks like, Assignment, prepare a still model to reinforce the concepts learned.
