WEEKEND REFLECTION MEETING WEEK -02

 An online weekend reflection for Week 2 of Phase I Teaching Practice was held on 27th July 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The session was led by our teacher, who offered insightful guidance and support to help us successfully navigate the teaching practice process.

Key points discussed included the importance of punctuality, classroom management, and student engagement. Our teacher also reminded us about the timely submission of essential works such as the reflective journal, e-content, diagnostic and achievement test papers, and other assignments. She provided clear instructions on preparing structured lesson plans, emphasizing objective setting, use of teaching aids, and evaluation methods.

Following this, a reflection round was conducted where student-teachers from various schools shared their experiences. Notable inputs came from Aparna and Pooja (Karavaloor School), who mentioned a DEO visit and shared suggestions received. Reflections from trainees of St. Goretti, Karukon, Poredam, and Vayala Schools included strategies for time management, handling diverse learners, and building rapport with students and staff.

The session concluded with the teacher addressing individual concerns and encouraging us to stay motivated. It was an interactive and enriching platform that promoted shared learning, helped identify areas for improvement, and boosted our confidence as future educators.

 Week -07 MONDAY - WEDNESDAY(15/09/25 to 17/09/25) REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE   32 DAY : MONDAY:15/09/25 Today, I reached the school at 9:15 a.m. and went straight to the principal’s office to sign the attendance register. Soon after, I joined the morning assembly. During the assembly, the teacher announced that the Arts Festival would be conducted on Tuesday and Wednesday. The students were very excited to hear the announcement. After the assembly, I was assigned a substitution period in class 5C. I engaged the students with a few interesting activities, which they thoroughly enjoyed. The class was very lively, and the students participated actively, making the session a meaningful one.
