Consumer Rights Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Sabarigiri College of Education on March 18 as part of the NSS activities. The event, organized by the Social Science Department, aimed to raise awareness about consumer rights and responsibilities among students. It focused on educating them about the importance of being informed consumers and understanding their legal rights when purchasing goods and services.

 The program began with Anupama, who efficiently anchored the event and guided the day’s proceedings. The first segment featured a PowerPoint presentation by Anakha, who provided valuable insights into consumer rights, their relevance in everyday life, and ways to safeguard against fraudulent practices. Her presentation highlighted key consumer rights such as the right to safety, the right to be informed, the right to choose, and the right to be heard.

 A highlight of the event was an engaging and interactive game session led by Revathi. Participants were tasked with guessing the prices of various products, turning learning into a fun-filled activity that reinforced awareness in an enjoyable way. Each department was represented by two students: Ameena and Muhsina from the Natural Science Department, Stephy and Prathibha from the English Department, Riya and Aswathi from the Mathematics Department, and Gopika and Bhavyasena from the Physical Science Department. The competition was lively, with the audience enthusiastically supporting their peers. After a thrilling contest, the English Department was declared the winner and was presented with gifts by Jaseena Miss as a token of appreciation.

 The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Reeba, who acknowledged the contributions of the participants, organizers, and faculty members. She stressed the importance of such programs in fostering consumer awareness and empowering students to be responsible buyers. The celebration of Consumer Rights Day successfully educated students about their rights and inspired them to be vigilant and informed consumers in their daily lives. It was a meaningful and impactful event that left a lasting impression on all attendees

 Week -07 MONDAY - WEDNESDAY(15/09/25 to 17/09/25) REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE   32 DAY : MONDAY:15/09/25 Today, I reached the school at 9:15 a.m. and went straight to the principal’s office to sign the attendance register. Soon after, I joined the morning assembly. During the assembly, the teacher announced that the Arts Festival would be conducted on Tuesday and Wednesday. The students were very excited to hear the announcement. After the assembly, I was assigned a substitution period in class 5C. I engaged the students with a few interesting activities, which they thoroughly enjoyed. The class was very lively, and the students participated actively, making the session a meaningful one.
