 NATIONAL UNITY DAY    DATE :30 OCTOBER 2024 We celebrated National Unity Day on October 30, starting the program at 10 AM. Aravind opened the event with an introductory speech, followed by Ashna, who spoke about the significance of the day and its historical background. After the speeches, Aravind led the Rastriya Ekta Diwas pledge, which was then repeated by the student-teachers, staff, and faculty.    Next, Ammulekshmi presented a poster that symbolized the unity and integrity of our nation. Pooja then delivered a PowerPoint presentation on the historical importance of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, highlighting his contributions and life.    The program concluded with speeches from our principal, G.  FIFTH DAY DATE:25/10/2024 DAY:FRIDAY Today marked the final day of the school induction program. I arrived at school by 9:15 am. After taking attendance, I spoke with the relevant subject teacher to inquire about the specifics of today’s shared class. REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE  The assembly today began at 9:30 am with a prayer song. During the assembly, the Headmistress instructed students to stay in their classrooms and not go outside during breaks due to the continuous rain. After the assembly, I prepared for the shared class, which took place during the second hour. We had some free time after the class, so we visited the computer lab to take pictures. At 12:45 pm, we went to the refectory to distribute food to the students. After lunch, we went to the office with sweets, as it was our last day. FOURTH DAY  DATE:24/10/2024  DAY:THURSDAY  Today marked the fourth day of the school induction program. I arrived at the school at 9:15 AM. After taking attendance, the other teacher trainees and I headed to our assigned area. Following the assembly, we met with the deputy headmaster to learn about the schedule for the day.  REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE   At 9:30 am, the assembly began with a prayer. The session included the pledge, readings from the holy book, and news announcements. The Headmaster addressed the students regarding the seriousness of an Amoebic brain infection reported in Punalur and discussed the necessary precautions to prevent it, urging everyone to remain vigilant.  THIRD DAY DATE:23/10/24 DAY:WEDNESDAY    On the third day of the school induction program, I arrived at school at 9:15 AM. I first went to the office to mark my attendance. Then, I met with my subject teacher to learn about the schedule for the day. REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE  At 9:30 AM, an assembly took place. Following that, Muhsina sulaiman and I discussed topics for our upcoming shared classes. During the third hour, we observed the subject teacher's class for the eighth standard. The fourth hour featured a pencil drawing and short story writing competition for high school students in the auditorium, where we monitored the participants. By 12:30 PM, we collected their submissions and handed them to the arts teacher. At 12:45 PM, we went to the refectory to distribute food to the students as part of the mid-day meal program, which included boiled eggs.  SECOND DAY DATE:22/10/2024 DAY:Tuesday  On the second day of the school induction program, we arrived at the school at 9:15 am and went to the office to take attendance. Afterwards, we proceeded to our assigned classroom. The open assembly began at 9:30 am, and following the assembly, we spoke with the relevant teachers to get information about our classes for the day. REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE   All of the teacher trainees reached school at exactly 9:15 AM. After that we all went to staff room and took attendence. After that we all attended the open assembly of the school started at the school ground exactly 9:30 AM. The assembly began with a prayer song followed by pledge, news. St. Goretti school bagged 2 nd position for district level sports. Prizes were given to the winners in sports and after this the teachers who encouraged the children were felicitated.  FIRST DAY DATE:21-10-2024 DAY:Monday The initiatory school visit is scheduled for October 21, 2024, which falls on a Monday. Eight students from Sabarigiri College of Teacher Education participated in this visit. I, Nuju Fathima M along with Muhsina Sulaiman from the Natural Science option. The group also includes Bishnuja Kani, Haseena A, Stephy Zara Zachariah, and Suja Mariyam Mathai from the English option, as well as Shinu G. Shani from the Mathematics department and Jerin K. Raju from the Physical Science department. Suja Mariyam Mathai served as our group leader.We arrived at the school at 9 o'clock, and our leader proceeded to the principal's office to obtain permission. After receiving permission, we took attendance. We then went to the classroom assigned to us. Following that, we met with the subject teacher to discuss the shared class and observation session.
