WEEKEND REFLECTION

The Natural Science Department of Sabarigiri College of Education conducted the weekly reflection on Sunday, 10th August 2025. The meeting was held online through Google Meet from 10:00 am to 10:45 am.The session began with representatives from each school sharing their weekly reflections. Aparna started by presenting her own and Pooja’s reflections from Karavaloor School. This was followed by Akshaya from Karukone School, who shared her week’s experiences in a positive manner, and Arathy from the same school, who also described her classroom experiences. Next, Muhsina and I, representing St. Goretti’s School, shared our reflections. I mentioned the challenges I faced due to a recent change in the classes assigned to me, particularly the shift from English medium to Malayalam medium, which I found quite challenging. Arya and Bhavana from Poredom School then presented their experiences, followed by Ameena from Vayala School, who shared reflections on behalf of herself and Anuroop.

After the presentations, our teacher, Sreedevi Miss, asked whether diagnostic tests had been conducted in our respective schools. She provided detailed instructions to complete 20 lesson plans along with the corresponding reflective journals and advised us to carry out remedial teaching based on the results of the diagnostic tests. We were also reminded to inform our schools that our teaching practice would conclude on 16th August and to consult the concerned subject teachers about the remaining portions to be covered after the Onam break. Additionally, she emphasized the importance of attending weekend reflection sessions regularly and urged those who had not yet completed their peer reflections to do so without delay.

 RADIO STATION INAGURATION Date :22 November 2024       The inauguration of the radio station at Sabarigiri College of Teacher Education 's General Hall,was a watershed moment, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the institution's journey. The event was attended by all the Student Teacher trainees, beloved teacher and non teaching staffs and our respected principal Dr. Roy sir, all of them were united by their excitement and anticipation.     The programme started at eleven'o clock after our Internal Examination. All the decorations were done the day before by the student teacher trainees.
